Need some help mommies. Emma just turned 4 months old so she's still in a bassinet, but she's becoming more like me and doesn't like sleeping on her back. She'll turn onto her side and eventually onto her stomach. Is she still at risk for SIDS or do you think she should be ok?

Jasalynn is three months and sleeps on her tummy in her crib she can lift her head , so I don't worry as much I still check on her through out the night .

@ecs2015 if she's rolling over on her own she should be fine. deffinently sounds like it's time to move her to a crib though.

unfortunately with aids you just never know it can happen in the blink of an eye my nurse told me there is a higher risk in babies under a year. just keep an eye on her follow your heart

I don't want to say its fine. It's one of those things where you have to follow your intuition

Jeez lol I guess when she starts doing that is when we transition to the crib! She doesn't get much tummy time cause she hates it and can roll over so I'm just afraid f her smothering. You think she'll move her head though? I don't want her to be too sleepy to move her head @peaceinfall

Daughter is a month and refuses to sleep on her back anymore, she moves her head from side to side and is able to army crawl up her bassinet
