so im thinking about taking my maternity leave from work in the next week or so but i feel bad. 1 my manager just fired a shift leader then the other shift leader is moving march 1st. (There are only 4 of us shift leaders and that will only leave 1 shift leader) 2. There are 2 employees that are going to be leaving around my due date. im 36 weeks and really need to start working on getting things at home ready for baby girl to be here but dont want to leave my job short handed... ughh
Since you're 36 weeks, take it now! You need time to prepare for the baby - cleaning the house, washing clothes, organize, and most importantly: REST. Especially if he doesn't think you'll make it to your due date. I'd take it now, most definitely.
i was gonna wait til i had her but working the way i do i havent had time to do anything else lol
yea i know we have a manager meeting tomorrow and im gonna bring up taking my leave. when would be a good time to take it? i still have a whole house to disinfect and clean and then put all her stuff together etc
Think about you and your baby, not work or employees. Your job there isn't to see who works when, who is quitting when, etc. Worry about you, your baby, having everything ready for your baby, and resting!
I think getting stuff ready for ur daughter is more important then work they can always hire some people or something
Paternity leave
How long are your husbands or SO getting off for paternity leave? My husband is only getting 1 week off. Then he leaves again. He works in the oilfields so he's always gone. I'm so upset it can't be longer. I'm more than likely having another c-section so it's going to be hard recovering plus handling a newborn and two year old. Makes me sad ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

Bump pic. 14 weeks 2 days ! I'm showing alot earlier with my boy than I did with my girl !excuse the background, I'm at work, im a painter, and one of my workers said boss you're getting pudgy !! 😋😋 so I had to go take a look in the mirror!
Ladies what was your work schedule like while pregnant? I work 40 hours a week & have only 2 days off a week . Should I cut my hours back ?
this girl pissed me off so bad she commented on my picture saying its not a boy cause u cant tell gender till 20 weeks n im only 12 weeks wheb my ultrasound clearly shows a boy.
I told them my last week I could only do half a week! (worked everyday anyway since my daughter came early) you could always work part time for now! tell them it's part time or leave!
