Is it normal to feel depressed a couple of weeks before the baby is born? I know pp depression is a thing, but lately I've had a really really hard time getting excited about baby #2, it's starting to feel more like a chore then anything. My two year old and I constantly butt heads, and he throws at least 3 tantrums a day. I catch myself getting so mad, I pretty much always break down and cry because I feel so lost. I feel like I'm doing something wrong, and he's acting out and it's all my fault. Work is my get away, and lately I've been catching myself getting excited to go just to avoid problems with my son. What can I do? I love him more then anything in this world, and I'm scared, so so so scared to have this next baby.

So, Utah weather has been super depressing this last little bit and that doesn't help. Also, 2 year olds are beasts, they're really naughty and it's okay to be super frustrated. You're nearing the end which can make you very irritable. Give yourself some time-outs. I used to lock myself in the bathroom on a time out and my guy would bang and knock on the door until I was done. It helped me calm down, oddly. I definitely agree with talking to your doctor just in case. Hang in there. You got this.
