So this was me today! Two older women told me look like I'm having twins or she gonna be a big baby. I said no she is small she said I must have been big boned because I'm huge. I wish people would just be nice to others! What she didn't realize was that I was physically hurting, could barely walk, swollen feet, knees, back, etc. All week I've dealt with racist comments, rude people, etc. I'm like, what does it matter if I'm big boned, small, etc.
Oh momma you're rocking that belly!! Don't get so upset. Take it as a compliment. Shoot I tell people I'm a whale! You're pregnant!! You're not going to be small!! I'm huge but I've only gained 18 pounds (I'm 36 weeks) and it's all in my tummy but she is measuring little!! And my whole life I've been big boned and told it. Just means I'm a bit more curvy!! But for the racist comments tell them to kiss your butt. Seriously. Especially if it's someone white. I would just calmly mention that at least black women are known for the nice butts and walk away. Lol. Can you imagine their faces. Take it as a compliment. No matter what specific race, we all have our stereotypical pros and cons. But definitely do not let petty racism get to you! People who are racist have no place on your mind!!
You look great and honestly I think average for how far along you are. People are ridiculous. They think pregnancy means they can say anything that they want. Wishing you a happy rest of your pregnancy and a safe and speedy delivery!
You look beautiful--you look like you have one beautiful baby girl waiting to meet the world!!! People are assholes--you look amazing and I feel people are jealous when they say such things to people.
@knfletcher42, i totally agree sometimes we as humans judge others but we never think if we could hurt them or what kind of problems they are dealing with!!!
You look great and that belly is beautiful god bless you
@cynmoli, thank you! I just wish everyone would think before speaking. I mean you never know what someone is going through. People nasty comments could be the last someone hear.
@sealion, @bogburglarbran @cynmoli @boygirlmom thanks ladies. Sometimes, you know, we just get emotional and I work with the public (SSA) and people already come in there mad and just go off not thinking that we have lives too. Just a tough week.
