probably. all the doctors I've had said after 21 they will do it whenever you want. they will ask you a million times if you're sure and tell you all the information and choices. you should ask soon about it because some insurances want at least a 30 day consent form before it's done to make sure you're sure and not pressured.
yes I have done a lot of research and thinking deep thinking about that and I just know I only want one baby. I want to be able to give him extras like sports and extra activities when he gets older as he wishes and I would feel better financially with one
some doctors will and some doctors won't let you. Also I head horror stories about getting them undone if you ever change your mind later. just be careful!! I'm thinking about getting mine done too.
I live in southeastern ky & mine is letting me tie mine once my 2nd daughter is born & I'm 24 years old. I guess it depends on where you live & whether your doctor agrees or not.
I figured that but I feel that should also be the mothers decision too not be dictated my physicians or insurance requirements. I know there is some liability with the procedure but as the patient your signing a consent there for there is patient responsibility to be fully educated on your decision. I feel like we rely too much on Drs when there is still patient responsibility and patient advocacy
It might depend on the state I'm not sure. But it's 21 years of age and/or 3 kids and some places I have heard was 25 so they should let you. I'm 24 and I am getting my tubes tied after my pregnancy
It's up to your Dr if they will let you or not. Every dr has their own requirements. Thankfully mine is on board with me getting mine done at 27 second baby

But if your doctor doesn't want you to do I would consider talking to another doctor and see if they will allow it.
