33 weeks and my boobs haven't really hurt at all, leaked, gotten hard or anything. does that mean I'm not going to produce enough milk for my baby's needs??
u won't have to I'm sure .. I did cause he was having trouble latching so the first night in the hospital I used formula but after that my milk kicked in no worries mom..
well I know every woman is different I am a breast feeder my son is 6 days old and when I had him the first day I had very little to no milk coming out but I still nursed him.. the doctor told me the more I breast feed the more milk will come in.. so I did just that n on day 3 I had milk flowing in enough to fill his tummy ...
@momma312, @shaniquatipton I know there are 3 different stages of the milk produced to help give your baby what it needs right after birth. so I didn't technically mean just milk. i plan on just breast feeding from the moment my baby is hungry. so did you guys mean you didnt have any at all until 3 days later??? orrrrr
your milk won't come in ... into day 3 trust me yo going to see a big change . I had no leak or anything
. I was worried too but after giving birth I'm loaded with milk it's crazy ...
I started leaking around 32 weeks with both my girls but my milk didn't come in until about 2-3 days after birth. You should have colostrum in them when baby is born just talk to your doc about it. :) you can also try massaging your breasts & squeeze the nipple a bit to see if anything comes out.
@suprise4, good to know. and @theinkedbarbie as far as I know, your body starts creating the milk before baby is born. but I could be wrong? I have done reading and talked to many pregnant women I just feel like I'm still so clueless. I hear so many different things and half of the things I haven't experienced.. like I haven't peed myself, or leaked, and my boobs haven't hurt at all, instill have 7 weeks but I haven't felt any rib kicks etc. I'm hoping I'm just lucky and nothing is actually wrong. they say nothing but good things at my appointments so.. idk.
I haven't mentioned it to anyone. I thought milk came in after baby was born. I do plan to breastfeed if I produce enough. I haven't had any problems with this pregnancy, & it is also my first. @mommabear2b
@theinkedbarbie, have you talked to anyone? do you plan on breast feeding? @suprise4 and you've had no problems? this is my first baby and I know what to expect but maybe my body is just handling things well?? idk.. I feel like I worry too much sometimes.
