OK I have a question.... I'm having my first Son and I don't feel him kick as much as I thought I would..is this normal are boys lazier than girls at the beginning??(I have a 8yr old girl and I want to say by now 17weeks I felt her move a lot more but don't quite remember to well) I sometimes get scared since I don't feel him and right away I pull out my Doppler and sure enough I pick up on his beating Lil heart so its relieves me 😊

I have an anterior placenta as well so that's why, they have to kick that first and then we will feel it thru our tummy, but that also means they must be bigger in order to kick stronger
I didn't even feel strong consistent kicks till almost 30 weeks
@prego89, anterior placenta isn't bad. Just muffles the kicks until he gets stronger. :)
@emeliaday, yes that helps me a lot and oh I hope I don't have that ..I feel him move but not as much as I was expecting to feel him ..maybe its just to early also lol
I have an anterior placenta. Didn't feel my boy until almost 25 weeks! The Doppler kept my mind at ease

you really won't start feeling him on a constant basis until 22 weeks or so
@valereleo, yeah that's what I thought since I'm only 17weeks but since this is my first son and second baby in 8yrs I thought I ask if boys are just lazier than girls lol
@valereleo, OK thanks I'll start monitoring that and his heart beat is always the same ..I went for a ultrasound last week and gave us a hard time cause all he wanted to do is sleep and use my placenta as a pillow lol
I also just saw you're at 17 weeks and they say not to even start counting until like week 26 because you just won't feel him as much until he's bigger
they say all babies are different. just count how many kicks are average for him in an hour and then make sure he doesn't go below that. The dopplers are nice but if you wait for the heart rate to drop it could be too late. always trust your gut. if something really seems off just go in and have them check him
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

I am into my 15 week now
But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less
Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though
What should i do i am very confused
Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec
Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights
some girls should shut the hell up .. they always say if you don't have something nice to say then don't say it ! I hate judgmental people with closed minded views .
Any moms with 2 girls?? I really feel like I'm having another girl.. was hoping for a boy... don't know how my lil girl is gonna react to a sister
