Agreed. I was only 5 days old when my mom gave me up to my grandma. After that, my grandma raised me my whole life. My mom was 19 and wasn't ready for a child. I would never do that to my child. Because growing up, it made me feel like she didn't care enough to try. Now she has her perfect little family with her husband and their girls.

I'm sorry that happened to you 😔😔 but my mother gave us to our grandparents one weekend and out aunt and uncle the next and we loved it. I don't think it made her any less of a parent or anything, it just gave us quality time with family members. But it's different than giving your child to their grandparents to be raised because they don't care 😔

@rockysmommy, yes I was only 5 days old when I was given away. I mean, I can't even imagine letting my son spend the night somewhere when he's 5 days old.
