You don't really HAVE to, I've used Dreft the 1st few months & then I just started using my detergent

We use sensitive skin, no dye, no scent laundry detergent anyways (my husband is a baby) so we will just use that same one for baby

I would suggest using it for the first couple months that's what we did with our first son but eventually we switched him to the regular tide we use good luck

Oh yeah I use gain bc my bf and I have sensitive skin and he's allergic to tide soo... Idk what my baby is gonna be like :/

We use the All Free and clear or the Tide one. And lots of fabric softener because the clothes get so stiff if I don't!
