I was told that I have a normal placenta is that a good thing? will I feel my baby kick more on the out side? my friends placenta was positioned weirdly that she couldn't feel her baby move from the out side.. so with a normal placenta will I feel my baby from the out side?
So I found out my placenta is in front of baby 🙈 am I gonna feel movement from out side?
Anterior placenta? I found out yesterday, at my 20 week scan, that I have an anterior placenta and won't feel my baby kick as much due to it. Not until late pregnancy. Anyone else have the same thing? If so, when did you feel your baby kick?
Motherhood ripped from me again... I went for my Anatomy Scan on Friday @ 20wks. I went in expecting to find out if my baby is a boy or girl, but came out feeling like I'm going to die.

Yes hun :) I had an anterior placenta and was able to feel movements on the outside xx

Anterior basically means it's at the front and can cushion movements, posterior means it's at the back and out of the way so you are more likely to feel baby's movements - having said that I also have an anterior placenta and feel loads! I also think it depends on how active and strong baby's movements are x

Both of them are normal :) it's placenta previa which isn't considered normal but is still common and means you would need a section x @leanne2016

If they've said your placenta is normal they could just mean it's healthy and functioning correctly. normal is always a good thing in relation to almost anything so I wouldn't worry lol xx

my placenta is on the front it does muffle his movements but not a lot. but apparently it's normal it just depends on where you implanted (or so I heard) lol 😁
