I got a dresser and put a changing pad on the dresser. you can still use the dresser for the drawers and put diapers and supplies into the top drawers and use the others for other things. then once baby is bigger just remove the changing pad! :)
Lol I never used a changing table but everyone is different. it just wasn't a necessity at all cause like most moms it becomes normal to change your baby on the floor on your lap on your bed etc. lol
@ftm2be you can always check Craigslist for a dresser or a discount furniture outlet. I have a 6 drawer one and we got a pretty good deal on it. you could always get it later on too😉
I never used one. I just change my daughter over a blanket or a waterproof pad. The main things u need... Diapers.. Wipes.. Crib.. Crib mattress. Blankets... (Swaddle ones are great for when younger), hats to keep them warm, mittens so they dont scratch themselves... Gas drops.. Clothes... Socks.. Baby towels. Baby bath.. Baby Wash cloth. Baby soap. Baby lotion. Teething rings are good cause my daughter started at 3 months. Sheets for mattress. I got a waterproof pad for under the sheet to keep the mattress nice..
Here's a list of newborn essential. I been checking things off since I found out I was pregnant and now I'm almost 24 weeks with little stress about it. Just get a little bit at a time. @ftm2be

Waste of money. I change my baby on the bed, couch, floor, wherever.

ok thats what my babys daddy was talking about
jessica·
cause its more money we can spend on what ever else the baby needs
🌸💀·
Im personally not getting one. I think they're unnecessary & it's unlikely that I'm going to carry my baby into his room to change him
