acid reflux.. my son had it. I had to suck it out of his mouth and nose with a bulb syringe cus he couldn't breath.

@alexiamommy, yeah no problem... it's just really powerful spit up and since the throat and nose are all connected it comes out everywhere. I was so freaked out when it happened but it's just milk so I don't think it burns or anything like when us adults have acid reflux it's just probably uncomfortable... eventually my baby stopped doing it but I gave him a few doses of the meds and that didn't do anything at all so I took him off of them. I was more worried about side affects of meds so early. if it gets really bad you can call and talk to a nurse at your pediatricians office they might have tips or tricks to help stop it

@akelly16, thanks for input I totally agree I will not put my baby on meds especially her being a month and thanks will try that just hate seeing her get all scared and i get scared for her.. thanks I'm a little more at ease that I can relate to someone that's been through it

my baby did that when he was first born. I believe the dr out him on acid reflux meds but I didn't keep him on it cuz I hate giving my kids medicine when their that little. I would just keep baby upright a while after feedings (I know that's hard in the middle of the night tho) propping my son up helped with the choking part but it still came out of his nose and mouth
