So my midwife is going to discuss with the doctor about giving me Makena for my pregnancy.

*Makena is a weekly shot given to mothers who had a previous pregnancy that were preterm.

For example, my last pregnancy I gave birth at 27 weeks and now I am high risk for it to happen again.

Anyone else had to get weekly shots to prevent preterm labor, how was it for you ladies? It's a scary thing for me. I have a phobia with needles. Advice or suggestions. Anything would help really.
