I need thoughts and opinions. Please don't be mean I'm just curious.
Tomorrow is my 21st birthday. On Thursday night I go out line dancing with friends all though I haven't been in awhile since I've been working 2 jobs.
But since tomorrow I turn 21 I was wondering if it was okay to drink a glass of wine or a beer? I looked up online and found that a glass of wine contains more alcohol then a beer.
Would it be bad if I had a beer tonight at midnight as my celebration for my 21st?

Thank you to all. I have talked to my doctor and my MA happens to be a family friend as well. I have done a lot of research on this. I happen to come from an Italian family where they say it's okay to drink a glass of red wine (watered down) with dinner. @kimberkatherine @maybaby2016 when it comes to caffeine I was drinking 3-4 cups a day before I got pregnant and right before I knew I was. I drink coffee now days once a day or twice a week. I watch what I consume. I just wanted to be able to order a drink legally. That's the only reason I wanted to get a beer or a glass of wine at midnight

That is a good idea too when in doubt @maybaby2016 advice. it is like drinking decaf coffee instead of the real stuff. The thing is, everyone feels differently about alcohol consumption (even in tiny amounts) during pregnancy. Same with sushi, caffeine, sleeping on your back. You get pregnant and boom everyone has opinions and advice. You have to trust your gut, do your own research and talk to your doctor or nurses :) that will always steer ya in the right direction

I agree with @kimberkatherine and if it were me I would probably just wait it out. I do occasionally drink non alcoholic beer which actually contains .5% alcohol in it, it helps me out when I go to barbeques and feel left out while everyone else is enjoying those cold ones.

I would just ask your doctor about it. Truth be told (and this is no offense to any mommies) but everyone has their own outlook on it and no one on here is a doctor ( that I know of anyway )

Not worth the risk. Drink sparkling cider and think wine ;)

drink after your baby comes. There is no reason to chance your babies health for a beer

My ob told me one drink as long as it is wine or beer won't hurt the baby after your first trimester
