I just had a total breakdown in the NICU....got up here and out of the 40 babies in this place, I heard mine crying and screaming.....I knew it was him and I hate hearing my baby in pain! They had to take his IV out they just put in this morning and redo it somewhere else because his hand was swelling...this will be the second IV hes had done today...he has been stuck with IV needles two or three times a day since hes been born and it KILLLLS me to hear him in pain....IV needles make grown folks cry! My poor baby!!! And Ive been sitfing in the isolation room crying my eyes out for 30 minutes while they look for a new spot to stick him and I keep hearing him scream...this is torture
