I really wish my mom would just give up on the while last name thing. my Baby's Father and I aren't married but he is still getting his daddy's last name. it pissed my mom off so freaking bad and I don't understand why. we have been together for 2 years, we've been living together for over a year and a half, and we are all together just content with how our lives are. we don't need a ring to prove our love to each other. I've honestly never really seen a point in marriage. she just won't give up....I'm perfectly fine not having the same last name as my Son.

It's just getting ridiculous!! ugh she won't even try and see it from my point of view. my sisters dad was a shitty guy that she has just met and my dad was an meth addict who beat her and did a bunch of fucked up stuff. I understand why we all got her last name but I feel like my boyfriends first born son needs his last name. not every man in the world is bad. I told her I'm sorry she feels that way but I will name MY son what ever I feel like naming him
My mom was the same way with both of my kids. I am fine with not having the same last name as them.
my mom did the same thing she was telling Me if I gave her his last name he could take her from me and courts couldn't say much cuz she got his last name
My boyfriend is so upset that I didn’t give our son his last name but I have 4 other kids that has my last name I didn’t want to make him the only one with a different last name. Is that selfish of me? Or should he just understand. We not married

Blah. I'm really sad about it, but we are moving to Washington state before the end of the year ???. My family lives there, and I went to part of high school there and we lived there for a couple years when our oldest was a baby. So it's not ALL bad. But...I'm still sad to leave my neighbors ????
Am I wrong for telling my Bd that because we not Married my baby don't have to have his last name? He really got mad and told me I was project n ignorant. Crazy part is I was thinking about giving my baby his middle and last name
