How do you stop being so nervous about everything? I am that momma that don't want baby to do everything because of me being a nervous wreck. I sometimes feel like I'm delaying him on his milestones. I see so many babies sitting up and he just learned to at 8 months. I also see other babies pulling up and standing on things and he still doesn't. I'm always screaming no to my husband and other family members because I don't want him getting hurt. I need to grow out of this because I don't think it's good.

i'm doing the same thing & i think the same thing as well... except my daughter is fixing to be four months. i see kids learning how to sit up at 3 months :(

I definitely wouldn't worry about that at 4 months but I know what you mean. I feel like I'm holding him back. On too of that, he's a boy!! I hate feeling like this.

my friends daughter didnt start walking til a year and a half, encouraging your baby to learn and grow is an awesome thing but dont feel bad if hes just now doing that, sounds pretty normal to me...but be there with him holding his hands and he will be alright momma!!!

@supermom1104 I'm so nervous that I barely like for him to be on the floor because I don't want him to bump his head or sit up and fall. I don't know what to do.

my dad always told me if a baby lands on their butt theyll be okay of course no one wants their baby smacking their head on the floor but if at first they dont succeed try try again ya know...just make sure you're there and youll be alright, im not quite there yet, my daughters three months and hasnt quite started rolling over yet so i worry about her falling off the bed, do u have carpet or hmm i wonder if ppl invest in some kind of gym matts? the fall wouldn't hurt as bad and i know that your reaction can also scare them into crying

Don't feel bad for telling people no. I tell my SO not to show our son things all the time because he needs to learn on his own at his own pace. The way he is naturally supposed to learn.

@supermom1104 I do have carpet. I think I'm going to invest in some kind of play mats. @tae23 Yeah I don't really like when people say he's a boy because in my mind he's still a baby, which he is.

My son started sitting up at 4 and a half months, and crawling at 6 months. I was like that but I also didn't want to delay his milestones and development. I had to just be strong about an just pay close attention to him. I think it's normal to be like that especially as a First time mother.
