so I've been getting a lot of comments on October's name...
most girls say, "i wanted to name my daughter that but so & so didn't like it..."
my mom, sister, dad, brother in law, grandparents (on both sides of my family), & tias HATED the name.
a lot. my dad STILL refers to her as Alessa instead of October. he'll even introduce her as Alessa to some people.
they all say she's going to be made fun of.
if anything they're the ones that will make her self-conscious about her name.
so all i have to say is, NAME YOUR KID WHATEVER TF YOU WANNA NAME THEM. that is YOUR child. YOU are the one that has to shove her/him out of your vag!
i told off my sister & my mom because they were both like "NO HER NAME IS NAYELI" how about this is my daughter & if i wanna name her after a freakin hobbit like Pippin, her name will be freakin PIPPIN.

some of my family didn't like that I was going to name my daughter Alison. because that was not a Hispanic name. they were finding name for me to put on my daughter. I'm like no her name is Alison & that's what I name her. it's sound great both in English & in Spanish.
I find October to be a cute name, a girl in my daughters preschool class has that name, hell I'm having a heck of a time finding boy names

you go girl!!! :) don't let them put you down and as far as your daughter being made fun of I doubt it. but your family needs to straighten up or when she gets older she will wonder why thru don't call her by her name.

why are people so concerned about something that doesnt affect them? 😒 id be pissed if someone introduced my daughter as something other than her name!

if I had a boy, his name would've been hunter tiberius... everyone hated it, but I thought it was extremely cool and would've done it anyways lol
yes when I was pregnant & I told my family about it. one of my uncle wife say if you don't want your baby you can give it to me with papers sing & everything. I'm like wtf. if I got pregnant was because I wanted to have a baby we were trying to have one for a year & nothing. I really hate it & I not one of those ppl that say much to my family because I will tell them how I feel & don't care. but I hate when she keep saying if you don't want your baby gave it to me. my boyfriend hating her when she said that. @youngg.mommyy
