I had my son 5 years ago and had to have a c-section bc I only dilated to 4 cm. I am due March 6th and I feel like I won't be able to have her vaginally. Maybe I should just schedule a c-section ? I'm so confused. I don't want to try and her get stuck or have complications while trying to have her vaginally. should I just do the c-section? advice ? comments ?

that's what I feel @jordanxavier10. I went last week and my wall's were thinning out but no dilation. I just have an ugly gut feeling that I'll fail and just have to have a c-section and mine as well just do it now. lol.

good luck @qamk. I hope you can push your baby out.

same exact thing for me...mine was 5 years ago as well Lol...my doc told me if I didn't dilate fully last time that it's more than likely I wouldn't this time...but you can always try...he just says pick the smarter and safest way for baby... trying to force your body to open with pitocin etc or even just waiting to dilate can put stress on baby if your in labor..heartrate can drop etc... I ended up doing another csection even though I desperately wanted a vbac. only because it was the safest thing for MY baby since he wasn't growing in my womb anymore.
