FTM QUESTION: For the ladies who have had kids; What are my pain relief options??? I don't want to get the epidural because I'm very afraid of needles.

when i had my daughter they gave me this one medicine, i dont quite know the name...but it made my body feel like it was floating (i was pretty gone it feels amazing if you try and stay up but itll beat you) it put me straight to sleep as soon as she put it in my iv...it helped my body rest a lot.

I was talking to a coworker today and she was telling me that they have this stuff that they can put in your iv to numb you just like the epidural
I had demerol and an epidural loved both!
@moniebabe070816, I had a shot of Demerol its like morphine but wont hurt the baby in my leg it took most of the pain and away then i got an epidural because I had a vaginal birth
Honestly it's either natural or epidural. You won't feel the epidural because they numb the area first .
