I just noticed a little bit of spotting. I'm 7 weeks. Is that normal?

I spotted up until about 9 weeks and freaked out about it every time. My midwife said my body was probably just confused but told me no sex until after 12 weeks to be safe.

Could be that my cervix is just irritated? I looked online and it said that that's a possibility and as long as it doesn't get any heavier than spotting then I should be okay. @hapmama523

What color is it? Mine was mostly brown spotting and I had bright red spotting once. My midwife said it was just excess blood from previous periods. Even though I was pregnant my body was still trying to shed blood like a normal cycle. She said it was normal. When's your next appointment?

I haven't had an appointment yet. It won't be until March if not April. Money is tight. Real tight. And I've got no insurance until then.

Any cramping? If there is even a little cramping you should go to urgent care.

It's normal. as long as it's not alot and you're not cramping, you should be fine.
