I didn't want to because of the health risks with the operation, but the hospital I delivered in did it doffrebtly and they didn't snip him. they used another method and it worked great. no infection or anything. but yes, its a mother choice. it shouldn't be bashed.

@ymoreno16, ugh! my grandma with my whole family totally gained up on me about it at my baby shower and Even though it was just me saying no i didn't care lol my grandma told me but his penis will look gross and I told her well good thing u won't be the one looking at it then huh -.- I was soo irritated ! I'm pregnant again and PRAY that I'm having a girl but if I'm having a boy again he wont be circumcised . it's not that I hate moms who choose different but don't bash MY choice either lol I'm soo thankful I stuck to my decision on not getting it done !

@nichole_lynn, that's interesting but I also chose not to have it done because his dad isn't and I don't want him wondering why dad looks different than him or if he has questions in the future I want his dad to feel comfortable answering them too but my BIGGEST reason was the health risk of having it done too I just couldn't stand to know my baby was gunnu be strapped down and then given a shot in his penis and then snipped I watched a baby having it done and NOWAY I just could never :(

my husband didn't get circumstances or he's other 2 brothers he's a triple so Idk why he's mom wants us to do it for my baby like she already had her chance to do it with hers she didn't, plus trust me he's winnie won't look gross at all lol

they put a cap on his and rolled the skin back and tied a string around it and the skin died and fell off. he felt no pain or anything and wasn't strapped down. they did it in like 5 minutes. no cutting or anything and he also didn't feel it when it fell off. @hernandezmommy

@ymoreno16, I know when she told me I wanted so badly to tell her how would u even know? aha my family is white so Everyone is circumcised ahah but my fiance is Mexican and they've probably never even seen one not circumcised I wanted to tell her well my fiance's doesn't and seriously if a girl is that childish to not love my son because of that then I wouldn't want him with a girl like that anyway -.-

I'm sorry this may be tmi but I have a strange fetish for uncircumsiced guys lmao I've dated 3 they all say sex was way better for them and to me they seemed way more sensitive to sex than guys I've been with who were done. it depends on how you teach your kid to clean themselves just like how is women have folds it's the same concept with the penis in a way . one guy was so big on being sanitary he cleaned his with alchol and would never just may around in our me as aftr intercourse he said his mom taught him super early how to clean it and how important it was to clean it I mean we all should be taking extra good care to clean our naughty bits thoroughly. I think those who circumsise their kids are basing it on tradition, and for cosmetic looks and the negative stigma. I also think it's due to laziness they don't want to have to spend that much time worrying about cleaning it lol smh

If that wasn't the way it was intended to be then it wouldn't look like that right out of the gate... lol. I agree it annoys me when people throw out that be uncircumcised makes you automatically unsanitary, um no. If we have a boy we won't be getting it done, my boyfriend will teach him how to keep clean. My boyfriend is all natural and has never had any problems. Plus birth is traumatic enough for babies and then getting their skin snipped off, I'll pass on voluntary pain for my child thanks.

I swear u can't do anything with ur own children these days without someone putting in their two cents. I'm glad I haven't had to deal with the circumcision argument yet (even though I want a boy so bad). It's ridiculous. I've been battling different arguments with my man's family and mine and it seems like I can't do anything without pissing someone off. I've started getting really pissy with people about it though. I told his sister not to argue with me or shed be excluded from everything cuz this is mine and my husband's baby, not a community baby and he helped me make these decisions I didn't just make them on my own. thank god he has the balls to stand up for me with his family cuz I'm about to lose it.
