"Oh well when I watch the baby for you..."

Glad I'm not the only one feeling like this. I hate when people automatically assume they "know" or have a say in what the baby is gonna go or where he will go. So frustrating. It's like, who do you think you are?

DUDE SAME! this one girl thought that since we're both teen moms that we were friends & that she was going to babysit. like no i've never even met/talked to you.

@lumbeemama, @youngg.mommyy It drives me crazy enough when my in laws do it, but its the most random people! Yes, I'm young, but I'm not stupid. This girl I went to school with is going on and on about her CNA and how she knows baby cpr and will be watching my baby all the time. We have maternity leave for a reason! (Also WHY would I want to know you know baby CPR?! Are you expecting to need to use it on my baby?!)

for me it's my mother. she babysits my nephew and does shit that my sister tells her not to do with him and she pawns him off on my dad and me (yes we're family but still) so that she go do her own thing. She's always saying that she'll babysit for me. I'm like, I don't even need a damn babysitter ! I don't go anywhere, you drive me everywhere, and I don't work so why do you assume I need you to babysit? or that I even want you to?

I've had two strangers that work in my building offer to be a sitter! People are strange....

This sounds like me! My daughter will be 1 on the 28th and she's only been away a handful of times and that was to church and RIGHT back and over her other nanna's house for no more than an hour to take care of important business I don't trust NOBODY

@mommyagain, I've just seen how people treat others' kids. And seeing how my parents raised me, and my in-laws raised my husband, I don't even trust THEM. I get its hard to do this without help every now and again, but the happiness and safety of my baby comes before me.

@gingyrex, oh you don't have to tell me! I have your same story I was taken for child abuse and my husband's dad used to beat the hell out of them and funny my daughter don't even like him she's never let him hold her or any of that she cries so hard if he's even in the same room and not to mention when I was on life support in 2012 he told the nurses don't keep reviving me if I flat line again let me go!!! I was livid when those nurses told me that!

@mommyagain, I wish I'd been taken away. I ended up moving out the day after I turned 17. As soon as they legally couldn't force me to come "home". Husband and I both struggled with depression and suicidal tendencies, now we're stable and happy. Funny how distancing yourself improves things

@gingyrex, you ain't lying I struggled with depression and bipolar disorder as well and if you ask me so did my husband he was to the point he didn't say no when we first met I made him leave them alone we went away to find ourselves both of our families were so stressful and that was the best decision we've ever made!
