has anyone here ever had an d&c procedure done before ? how was it an how did you feel afterwards??…

I have had 4. they are not comfortable. and after you wil be very sore but you are strong I am sure. God bless.

I had one. I was crampy and spotted for about 2 days and then I was ok. I did however have bad cramps and heavier periods the first several months after. But I did get back to normal.

I really wish I didn't have to do it I just hate the way it sounds it's looks so scary but thank you both for your stories @babyanakin @newbee2016

it's going to sound strange but I always drank strawberry milk for the pain... it worked wonders. I was swollen after too...

I had one after my miscarriage and it was super painful! I literally started crying while he was trying to perform it...at the same time my dr said it was necessary since my miscarriage only last 3 1/2 days and he didn't think everything came out and my cervix was sealed shut tight and the meds he gave me to open the cervix didn't work so he was forcing it. It sucked so bad and my SO was so upset because of the pain I was in and the dr said at the end.."so it hurt so bad, your cervix wouldn't open and I was trying to force it open"

Oh, that's the surgery type one..I didn't want to do that one because according to the ultra sound there wasn't enough in there to be worth it...but at least you won't have the haunting nightmares for a week 😒@ahjahlove92

@miasiacheyenne, actually I'm devastated by the fact my child will be pulled out of my body like common waste so yes I still have heartache an nightmares it's not exactly a mind relaxation to me but I'm very sorry about your experience

I've had one dnc and one birth I would have rather had a dnc because I was put to sleep and didn't have to push or anything like that.
