I'm 14 weeks and I just came from the bathroom and I have dark brown spotting. Have any of you ladies have this happen to you? This pregnancy by far has been tough. I have had bleeding and pink spotting since I found out but nothing like this dark brown. Do any of you think something could be wrong? I have been sick for the past couple days woth some coughing I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Brown bleeding is usually the leftover remnants of your previous pink bleeding. With 2 of my 3 babies, I would bleed so heavily, even heavier than my normal periods. If you start passing large clots or having cramping, that's a sign to call the doctor, but bleeding without pain or clotting happens. It's scary as hell. I always found comfort in knowing with every week that passed my baby was stronger and less likely to miscarry. After a m/c I purchased a home Doppler so I could hear the heartbeat whenever I wanted and it always made me feel at ease.

I've had 2 miscarriages and one just before I got pregnant with my current baby. I have a doppler I try not to drive my husband crazy because I think sometimes he thinks I'm being paranoid. I guess maybe I am a little bit.
