Has anyone else who has had a c-section had problems with the spinal tap afterwards??? We came home from the hospital Sunday and Inwas back in the hospital yesterday due to what they call a Spinal Headache. They had to go In and do a Spinal blood patch where they took 20 cc's of my blood and put it in my spine to patch the hole and it was suppose to stop my headache but it didn't. I woke up in severe pain this morning still from this and they can't so another spinal patch bc it can cause the blood to compress my nerves and paralyze me so the doctor told me to drink lots of caffeine and take caffeine pills. Any suggestions on how to fix this??? I cant hold my son like I want to bc I cant sit up due to my head feeling like it is going to explode when I do. This is so aggravating and makes me cry bc all I want to do is hold my baby boy and I can't right now!!!!

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,

I'm going to ask my doctor. But with your personal experiences have any of you had Red Bull while pregnant. It has 80mg of caffeine and my body is use to 100x that amount. My doctor ok'd coffee and soda bc I'm so use to caffeine. Like I said I'm not doing anything until I consult my ob but I'm craving it so much it's driving me mad!!!

Missin drinkin some Starbucks frappe. #mocha frapp is my fav:/ they say I can't have caffeine so I haven't had caffeine in a long while. Do any of you pregnant ladies drink coffe?
I had the same thing happen when I had my daughter almost 8 years ago. They let some of my spinal fluid out when I got an epidural. I ended up with a condition called pseudotumor cerebri. I've had many medications to help with it and been with a neurologist. Topamax 100mg twice a day and losing a bunch of weight and they think I'm finally resolved/healed. I had to have one or two lumbar puncture every year one time they tried to be helpful and take extra fluid to reduce the pressure headaches and took to much. So I ended up with a spinal headache and getting a blood patch. It took the worst of it away. Don't ignore this follow up with your ob or go to the er it can lead to alot of things. I'm not trying to scare you just letting you know because I have gone through this. Message me if you want I'm here for whatever
