When after having a positive pregnancy test should you see a doctor? Just questions for the future.

it took me over a month to get an appointment after I found out

I was thinking it would be at least a month, was it just busy? Or was that your preference?

My drs office didnt want to see me till after 11 weeks 😩😩😩 but Since i had a miscarriage and an ectopic I asked to be seen before and they gave me an appt to check my hcg levels but still didnt get to see the dr till 11 weeks

I guess it was just busy, I'm not sure even when I went in for my appointment I had to wait over an hour.

3 weeks for me. they wait till they can see something. mine was 7 weeks

it depends on the office.mines didn't want me in till 8 weeks or after.but I got them to see me at 6 weeks because I had an history of an ectopic pregnancy

I went in at 7 weeks or so

I went in at 6 weeks. They didn't even ask how far along I thought I was, they just got me in when they had an opening.

when i worked in obgyn we scheduled the first pregnancy at 8-10 weeks to make sure baby was implanted. id expect to be seen in that time frame unless you've had past miscarriages, etopic pregnancy, or have a health condition.
