I wouldn't stress on it. do what feels right. who knows maybe it will make him grow up.

@atw2016, - yay true no one likes being unhappy ... At first I thought it was just pregnant hormones but I'm starting to realize it's way more then that
I don't think that would be selfish but smart. Who wants to be unhappy? That adds to stress both which you don't need. Just make sure that's really what you want first before you do it.
Go with your gut feeling and if you do decide to leave then you could always arrange custody agreements or co parent 👍🏻

At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
