So went for my Dr. apt yesterday and doc said I wasn't dilated yet but my cervix is soft and dimpled and she could almost get her finger inside. Not really sure what that means, can any of you ladies help me out? does it mean she will be coming soon? my doc seemed to act like she was going to be here soon.
oh okay, do you guys know what she meant by dimple?

My sister has been dilated to a 2 and 50% effaced for a month. Just because you have changes, it doesn't necessarily mean anything.

Doesn't necessarily mean anything. You can be completely closed and go into labor hours later. You can be 2 cm dilated and not go into labor for weeks. It just depends.

little man can b here sooner then his due date friday, doc said she wouldn't b surprised if she don't see me for my last appt Thursday and won't b surprised if I have him early , hopefully she telling me something, still 1 cm though so hopefully he comes soon , been so uncomfortable she did say I was having early labor pains all in my back have them 1 in every 10 mins , be3n having pain sides and stomach pressure come on little man, 😍😍😚😚😚💙💚💛

Sounds like she means that you're still pretty much closed. Less than a fingertip dilated maybe?
