I found out I was pregnant because I had period like cramps but never started. I asked my OB about them and she said that for a few weeks your baby is still burrowing unto the lining of your uterus, so it can cause cramps. if you start bleeding then call your doc, but other than that it's normal to have mild cramps in the 1st trimester.

ya see I'm about 5 weeks.. so idk if that makes a difference

I'm almost 20 weeks and I still get cramps occasionally. Your uterus is probably stretching.
