So I read that I shouldn't be laying on my back because it restricts blood flow to the placenta. I keep rolling over onto my back while I'm sleeping. My boyfriend will wake me up atleast 4 times a night to tell me to roll over onto my side. I don't know what to do anymore. 😩😩
I slept on my back throughout my whole pregnancy. My Doctor told me to sleep however I was comfortable. She said if sleeping on my back was causing stress or discomfort to my baby that my body would wake me up.
honestly im a cheap person LOL i bought two body pillows from walmart theyre $8 i put one behind me and the other in front me
They say that laying on your back isn't good in pregnancy because your uterus doubles in size. It goes from the size of a fist to the size of a watermelon. So after week 16 in pregnancy, the pressure of your uterus and growing baby can press on a major vein that cuts off blood flow to your brain. It's okay if you wake up on your back and have to turn over. The further along I get, the more I wake up on my back. Honestly, I just got a $10 body pillow from Walmart and sleep with part of it between my legs and take it from side to side...you could also buy two and sleep with one on each side if you want to try to sleep in a different position. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry too much about it. As long as it's not for long periods of time and your baby is still active, you're alright. I just make sure when I wake up on my back to go back to my side. :)
I wish I could. I don't have that kind of money. The one I bought alone was $50. I can't afford those 😕 @angelsoonmother
I've been doing it since I became pregnant and before u even knew. my baby is fine but I did purchase the pregnancy pillow to help me! and my God if this thing isn't heaven on earth lol
