I think you should go for it your her mom she can anyways take them out and they usually close up so it's not like she has these huge holes in her ears lol they're tiny everyone has their own opinion but that's why they can choose for their own child :)

Exactly!! & she might be like me, wait so long to get them pierced and then get scared to even pierce them! That's why I want to do it now that she's a baby so she won't even have to worry about that. @briplusone

My dad didn't want my mom to pierce mine but she's the one who carried me for 9 months so she didn't really have much of a say lol

I think you should get them pierced! My mom got mine pierced at 6 months and now I have a second and third hole and 3 cartilage lol. She could love it. I loved that my mom got mine pierced as a baby because I never had to worry about getting mine pierced later on. Like once I was in electro and middle school and all my friends were wanting there's done I was glad to already have mine. If she doesn't like them she can take them out but I'm sure she'll love them :)

I only disagree with you because she could honestly grow up to find a belief or religion that favors no kind of piercing. That's why I think it should be a choice but that's my own opinion. But it also won't hurt since she can always take them out. It's your choice momma. You're her momma and it's not up to us. You should do it if that's what you want:)

My daughter is 3. Her ears are not pierced. My ears were not pierced until I requested them to be at age 12. I feel that earrings do NOT make or break ANY females femininity. Impaling a girls ears is permanent. She may not like earrings and just have 2 holes in her ears because mommy wanted them there. I rather it be her decision. I got to decide, why shouldn't she?

I waited until my daughter was 6 yrs old. She asked to have them done. It was actually pretty special....great mommy/daughter memories. But really the only reason I waited is bc I put it off too long when she was a baby and they say you shouldn't do it while they are toddlers(at least that's what I heard).

I stopped wearing them too because I'm allergic to nickel and I can't afford real gold or silver ones. and also because when I wear earrings, I get little cysts in my ear lobes. it's weird. I have to gradually force them to the surface of my skin and pop them. the holes never closed tho

I had mine done at a young age and I got a ear infection so I stopped wearing them & my holes closed up and I didn't get em pierced again till I was in 10th grade! @arijane316

That's tough and it's hard to stick to a happy medium cuz you either do them or you don't

Mine thinks we should wait until she's old enough to tell them whether or not she wants them done. my parents waited until I was 6 to let me decide

I think it helps when the babies don't have much hair and people mistake them for boys at least the ratings might help people see she's a girl were going to pierce our daughters ears if she wants she can always take them out later if she really doesn't like them but I think it's cute to pierce them
