ladies i need help right now.. my doctor just called me and told me my lab work came out positive and says that my baby could have birth defect or down syndrome. anybody had this news before and was a mistake or no further test should it was accurate??? please help im bawling
@angellle, @angelkisses thank you so much ladies I've been freaking out all day and just thinking of every possibility I really hope and pray that it is a false positive but he's a way I would love my baby no matter what an abortion is not an option for me. but she did say there was a possibility that there could be something wrong so they need to run more tests on me so I'm guessing it's not a hundred percent sure and I hope that's the way it stays
they told my sister the same thing and urged her to get an abortion but her baby was born healthy. I never get that test done because of the false positive. Just try and relax . It's still your baby either way but false positive results are common with that stupid test.
Before they thought I have other things all end up mistake .. Don't worried they just must say every small things they see doesn't mean it's a real problem
Don't be just wait until they check again . What did they told you ? In my case they called said little % a hole in the heart but it was law % and only if they see two it's bad so the baby end up healthy ;) more then me lol
happened to my friend and she cried her eyes out wen she got the call.. she had to do the further testing which came out okay.her baby is fine, gave birth last month... its scary but I also think its a insurance n doc scam my last doc try to have me do a bunch of unnecessary test which my new doc now doesn't,idk wat the hec,but as long as my baby is fine
thanks ladies im so sad and depressed right now im breaking down right now... i pray its a mistake... @angellle @countrymamaof2
It's only a probability... doesn't mean your child will be born with a birth defect.
My coworker had her tests show up positive repeatedly but her daughter is fine, she'll turn 2 in August.
