Just found out that my placenta is 2cm away from my cervix. Has anyone else had this happen? My doc isn't super concerned and says it will move up as I progress further in my pregnancy.

@kbashoor11, thank you! I'm not overly concerned. I just wasn't sure what it exactly meant!
This happened with me. At 15 weeks it was blocking my cervix but my doc did another ultrasound at 36 weeks to check and my baby moved it. Don't worry too much about it cuz the more your baby grows, it should move out of the way. :) also don't do a lot of heavy lifting (if you do)
My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️

You're welcome :) it scared me at first because I didn't want to get a c section or anything but she moved it out of the way and my doc has no concerns now. Good luck in the rest of your pregnancy :)))
