I was researching cloth diapers for fun tonight before bed and I'm kind of torn honestly. On one hand it cuts cost but not significantly because you're washing them so often and purchasing different organic detergents to keep them in good condition. But on the other hand the baby is less likely to get rashes and they seem to be more comfortable materials. I can't decide what I think. The effort seems to be about the same for either side also. I just didn't see a really outstanding benefit? The environmental impact makes sense because you're producing less waste in landfills but you're also using more water and energy with the extra loads of laundry you're doing every other day. They seem like even choices to me? Did any moms use both and see a significant difference in your baby's rashes or overall hygiene?

I have never tried them but my friend has two little girls and used cloth diapers for both of them. She said it was a lot of work but she thought it was well worth it. And they hardly ever got rashes. I however use regular diapers on my little one. I don't have the time for cloth diapers. She's a stay at home mommy too.

my mom used disposables with me but my brother had a hard time with rashes so she used both with him. I will do both but mostly disposables unless there's issues
