My daughter is 4 days old.. I'm pumping and feeding her with a bottle bc she's having a hard time latching... I'm producing plenty of milk so there no problem there but almost every time I feed her, she spits up A LOT sometimes it's just really runny and sometimes it looks curdled. She cries a lot when I go to burp her and then she spits up.. I've changed her outfit 3 times in the last 2 hours.. And she spits up again... Idk why she does this so much but it's freaking me out and I'm trying not to show her how overwhelmed I'm getting but it's so hard.. I wanna cry... It's like she's always in pain during feedings and it's breaking my heart... She eats 2-3 oz every 2 to 3 hours I've tried feeding her less more often and that didn't help, I burp her after she eats an oz and then at every 1/2 oz and she still gets sick.. 😭😔
Sounds like either lactose intolerance or acid reflux. My son has GERD and that's how he was he couldn't eat he would throw up h re was in pain during feedings. I would bring it up at your next pediatrician appointment
She may have acid reflux or a really bad gag reflux! She may just need to be put on a certain formula but if you are dedicated to breastfeeding you should also consider changing your diet as well. Of course see a doctor first and ask about these suggestions'
It may be the bottle you are using. Could be giving her colic, or she could have acid reflux. My brother had both and he couldn't keep my moms milk down. Too forever for us to find a formula that he could keep down. Poor baby slept in a carrier for the first 6 months of his life.
