I've been tested for it probably 4 times because of my blood pressure. They will probably have you do a 24 hour urine analysis now, but the biggest warning signs that you have it are extreme swelling, headaches, and blurry vision. If you don't have those, odds are in your favor. They will probably do blood work too to see if your liver and kidneys are functioning properly.

You can have higher than normal blood pressure and not have pre eclampsia. It's called gestational hypertension, that's what I have. They'll have you limit your sodium intake, and some are put on modified bed rest, like me.

@skmamaof3, I don't have any of those symptoms..they are going to do a non stress test also..i have a little pain upper right side of my abdomen, very light..that's all I can say
