Ladies with circumsized sons, I have a friend who is against it but, I have my reasons for wanting…

I'm too scared to have it done. I'm kinda scared of everything though. But there's a small risk he can die from it so I'm just not doing it.

@valereleo, I've looked up the pros and cons of it, they even use anesthetics, which made me feel better about it. I'm doing research on every little thing that scares me.

I'm also terrified of it being done but as of now I am having my son circumsized.. it's ultimately 100 percent your decision though remember that. I just know it will be easier to keep clean and less infections in the future my friends husband is getting his done finally at the age of 28 and I'm assuming that's going to be a million times worse than getting it as a baby and not remembering the procedure. many many people have their sons circumsized and more and more people are opting against it. don't let anyone sway you a certain way make sure it is honestly 100 percent your choice I just decided I'm going to because of other people experience and I've talked to my doctor a lot about it also. :)

both of my boys had it done. it's easier to clean and not have to worry about infection later on. it was worth it to me . sorry but your friend should respect your decision and leave you alone about it

@paige1212, I totally see where you are coming from. and my bf and I agree there too, we also feel it will be one less reason to get bullied as well.

I had my sons done. It heals quickly and really didnt seem to bother him. I personally have a family member who didn't get it done until he was an adult and it got so infected he can no longer get an erection. It's so much worse to wait. And I'm religious and if God says it should be done then I trust in him.

I had my son circumsized. He did just fine and I was able to clean it better knowing he wasn't going to get an infection from me not knowing how to clean it properly. He wasn't even 24 hours old when he got it done. He just slept a long time afterwards. But I was happy with the decision to get it done. Do what feels right to you. If you want to do it, do it. If not, let it be. But your his mother and not your friend. You do what feels right to you. I glad I did it. He will never remember and plus size, when he gets older and would want it done, he won't have to worry about it. Plus it's just a cleaner way to go.

I totally don't mean this to sound rude but, it's not your friends business, decision or choice on whether you get him circumsized or not. that's all you mama. you do what you want

in my opinion it's better to get them circumsized. easier to clean and less likely to get infections cuz if you don't get him circumsized stuff can get under the extra skin and cause infections I feel as if circumcision is the best choice... the process does not look fun at all. I watched a video on it... haha don't watch the video.
