nope, I planned mine this time and it was wonderful ...with my first son it was a total mess because of the so called person who was supposed to be hosting it

It was doable for me. I did all the decorations and cooking myself with help from my mom and in laws

Nope not at all u go for it girly cause that means u want have to wait on other ppl to get everything together and they end up post pone it then u be stuck waiting I wise my family would let me throw my own lol
@hermommy, thank you ! @lashellg That's what i was thinking but then I kept seeing articles on how it's wrong and like begging for gifts and such , but I don't have a lot of family here or friends and why not do it myself so it will be how I want it to be?
If it was me I'd say we were celebrating baby's birth and add that gifts aren't required. People will still bring them but it won't seem like you're asking
