c section question momas... did you get swollen feet or ankles? how long ?

Swollen legs and feet foe about a week

@isabellasmommy4 ok... i didn't have it in hospital n when I got home they got swollen ..got worried ..

I never swelled until after the c section. My legs stayed swollen for 4+ weeks

@princevince ok same here so far .. I was just worried for blood clots.... but if it's normal I feel better

Yah because of all the fluids they give you and pitocin.

I had swelling for about a week after coming home.. Try elevating your legs when resting and keep walking around as much as u can. It'll get better

Mine were so bad I couldn't bend my legs.

@mluvs7, just a week but I was in the hospital again after my c section and they gave me a water pill so it went down fast. not sure how long it would have lasted if they didn't give me the water pill

@dropdeadmeg yes I called hospital yesterday they said to text my doctor that I may need water pull too
