baby is fine, you'll put more stress feeling guilty about it. I've had a few panic attacks and while they caused Braxton hicks, baby is still doing great

I've had a few episodes throughout this pregnancy and it absolutely sucks but just try to calm yourself down a little. Sometimes for me it's just catching my breath again and other times it's needing to go listen to a specific some as weird as that sounds, I have a special song that helps calm me down.

@emily18234 @scc2413 thank you guys, that's such a relief. I'd never intentionally do anything that would harm him.

Trust me, as someone who's dealt with panic and anxiety attacks since I was little, it's never intentional and you shouldn't feel bad about it. It's just part of you and you learn to calm them yourself. Surprisingly even my SO has caught onto some techniques that help me that he can do. Don't even apologize for it though! Like the first comment said, you add more stress by feeling guilty for it. As fragile as babies are, it takes a lot to put them in distress.

While i's true that stress isn't good for baby, adding to it by feeling guilty won't help, either. Pregnancy hormones alone made me cry and feel stressed out frequently in my previous pregnancies, and my babies are fine :) don't be so hard on yourself, pregnancy does seem to make emotions more difficult to keep under control for anyone, let alone someone with ptsd!
