try saline and nosefrida for congestion and zarbee's cough meds that's made for babies 2months and up

zarbees like @mia_monique suggested.... and suction nose and saline drops or spray.... also when putting the vicks on rub it on the feet until it's warm, it helps it work faster..... also my mil cuts an onion in half and puts it in a little dish in certain rooms of the house, obviously don't put it directly in the kids rooms but outside near the door and the onion is supposed to help draw out the illness (I know it sounds crazy but I've read up on it and everything I've read says it helps

I used the nose Frida and the saline drops on my six month old and it cleared everything up over night! I actually have two humidifiers in the room because we crank the heat up here. I bought a thermometer that shows the percentage of temperature and humidity levels too!

@tracynangel, where do you get a thermometer like that? I talked to my dr I bought zarbees and then asked if I could give it and she said they don't recommend cough meds for anyone under 4years old and the pharmacist agreed so I didn't give any more to her but that was a different time that she was sick. This one is more extreme. I've been doing the Vicks & humidifier and sucking her nose out, I have saline nose drops but was to only use those when she is stuffed but nothing is coming out when I suck it. And she's havingn plenty of drainage. Today she's actually coughing up mucous. I'm about to go take a shower so I'm going to have her sit in there with me, I heard that can help.

What is humidity level supposed to be? I'll definitely look into one of those!!!
