Is it bad to get your nails done but acrylic? I really want to get them done because my nails aren't growing and I hate them short. :(

yes you can! one of the techs at mine is pregnant!! I get mine done just ask for the seat next to the door!!!

If you are exposed to a lot of these fumes, it can make you nauseous or sick." From baby center. Just google it and you will see a lot of credible baby sites say the same thing. They would know more than a nail tech...if you are really worried it's always best to ask your OB or midwife.

No like PP said if it is well ventilated you will be fine, it's not the act of getting your nails done it the fumes that you should limit exposure to is all.
As long as it's well ventilated I don't see why not!
I've gotten my nails done through out my whole pregnancy. my little man is happy and healthy!

Any ladies get there nails done. Not just a basic manicure with polish. But the acrylic nails? I miss getting my nails done. I want to get them done. But family and friends are saying I shouldn't because it's easier to scratch the baby when he's here. etc. Any input?
If anyone is trying to get any tattoos done on them, I really recommend you not to especially if you are pregnant. You can seriously HARM the child!
Should I get my nails done tomorrow for my baby shower this Saturday? If I do it'll be an Acrylic French Mani. My baby is due July 11th but being at risk for preterm labor. I don't want fake nails when baby is here as I feel they'll get in the way. Should I just paint them or get the acrylics? 😮
Acrylic or gel nails? I don't get them done often. Last time was probably around 2 years ago.
Acrylic is cute but it does ruin your nails by the way they're done! If you want your nails to grow and heal, I'd go with a gel manicure. You can still get designs on them and they're just polish with a top coat that makes them not chip and they last long 😊
