it almost sounds like a blood clot....Id go to L&D and bring it with me to be checked. Mucous plugs do in fact contain mucous. They are made up of it.
I'd freak out and go in anyway but that's me lol.
Call a doctor on call or go to the hospital !
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

@sarahemccormick, I thought it was a blood clot also until I touched it and it feels like it's like a membrane or something like formed and thick... I would post a picture but it's nasty.. Not bleeding anymore though and baby is still moving a lot so she said it sounds like my plug and if I bleed anymore go to the hospital
