Wth my husbands home 24'7 he dosent have work rn plus this pups the only thing that's brought me out of baby fever and ppd what do u ladies think I mean I'm not putting the puppy over my baby (she's a shih tzu ) pretty calm puppy as well

Don't listen to them your not taking the attention away from your baby everyone has their own opinion my father in law doesn't think we should have my dog just because he doesn't like animals so he's always saying stupid shit ignore them do what you want

And she dosent poop anywhere near she dosent shed at all she's not close to the baby she's usually on the floor unless Sofia's in her crib but she's super clean

honestly I do too think you will have e much of a problem as long as you have help. people say that because they get over welmed.

it's entirely up to you. I think maybe mostly because puppies take a lot of work and energy. and trying to divide that energy between a baby and puppy is hard. but if you don't mind the challenge and realize that if you get a puppy you will need to put effort into it, then go for it.

I mean my husbands always home , @aphrodite2014 she dosent shed or poop near the baby and we're always washing the pup and useing germ x

@fifismommy, its fine honestly I ha e a dog too she is only 7 months or so and it's not horrible.. keep doing what your doing just don't make the puppy feel bad for going near the baby or something like that he could learn to resent the baby. and honestly u less you have a premie or you baby has something wrong with it having the puppy around is fine. the puppy will learn to protect the baby if you allow him to be apart of the baby's daily life.

Yeah there attention is divided equally when my husband has my baby I have the pup when my husband has the pup I have the baby plus I want my baby to grow up with a pup to learn the companionship and to love animals maybe I see it normal cause that's how I was raised my mom got a pup when I was 2 months just keep up to date with shots majorly @aphrodite2014

I think you'll be good girl especially if your husband is there with you to help and you keep up with the shots plenty of people do it with puppies and babies you'll be fine
