does anyone know if they have to prick ur finger to test if ur baby has down syndrome?, I can't remember from my last two pregnancies .

They pricked my finger for one of the birth defect tests. They pricked it then got a drop in 4 diff little circles that tested for diff defects

They do blood work but not by pricking your finger. They most likely won't test you until your closer to 17/18 weeks so they can get a better read.
