Question about what to expect. My fiance works for a very large university. They are throwing us a baby shower and apparently about 50 people are invited (no telling how many will actually show) and they said it was a potluck. I told him to make sure if they go to our registry to use my name because his name is extremely common. When I went to just see out of curiosity, using his name came back with over 500 registries. He said he didn't want to proactively offer that information and have them think we're expecting gifts. I'm not "expecting" or "demanding gifts", and I'm just nervous being around 50 people I've never met. what should I expect?
