Ok ladies my husband and I have been TTC for four months just to find out I don't ovulate regularly. Well my OBGYN was talking about a drug called clomid to induce ovulation. I research everything before I put it in my body and I read that it can cause miscarriages and being I've had two miscarriages already I don't want anything that could raise that risk. Have any of you ever used clomid or heard of anyone using it and how well it worked. Thanks in advance!
I have an appointment with a OBGYN and I am hoping if they will put me on it. I've noticed that I've been having white CM that feels like glue during my fertil days and I really wonder if I am ovulating at all. Although it shows that I ovulate on CD 16. I am currently taking One A Day prenatals w/DHA,Primrose and folic acid.
Hey, well I have pcos and wasnt ovulating on my own either so my dr gave me metformin and pregosterone to induce my period and told me to take clomid on my 3 rd day of my cycle and Surely I got pregnant on 50mg she never mentioned miscarriage she only mentioned the posibility of having multiples
My husband and I have only ever been with each other so I don't know if we could have kids with other people. I just know I want a baby and it's killing me having miscarriages and then not even being able to convince
I feel like I should share, my brother has a daughter and his wife has a daughter, but they physically can't have babies together. for some reason they aren't compatible and have had 5 miscarriages before giving up because they didn't want a bunch of expensive fertility treatments.... honestly if they wanted a baby bad enough, the treaments mightve worked. I just figured It might be nice to know it's not necessarily anything that has to do with you....when I got pregnant, it was after finding out my SO was diabetic, but he also drank a lot too. high blood sugar and excessive alcohol consumption can hurt sperm (my brother drinks a lot too).
My doctor mentioned putting me on Clomid if this provera doesn't get me regular. She didn't say anything about it causing miscarriage...
I never took it, but I had a miscarriage after 6 months of trying, and it took a full year of trying to finally get pregnant again (and that's actively trying 2 or 3 times a day all year).... I ovulate irregular too I think, cause I conceived at the end of my period rather than middle of the month.
I don't know that it was the clomid that caused it...there were a lot of women in my family that has had them. and can happen in perfectly healthy women.
Have you tried taking Prenatals. @hopefulmama that should get things in line.. and download an app called Glow. it tracks everything. tells you when its best to have sex.. good luck.
How long did it take
