Does anyone have a baby and puppy? I'm a dog person and have 2 pugs but they're both older so they're used to their daily routine so I haven't really experience a hassle between the baby and the dogs. The real question is: Would it be crazy of me to get a puppy now? My baby girl is 2 months old. I want to get her a puppy when she turns 6 or 8 months. I want her to learn to be gentle with animals and I take all my dogs to puppy training classes. But I have heard that juggling a baby and a puppy can be rough!

@jennatess, Thank you! Yes my doggies have forever homes with me lol my oldest pug has been with me since he was 2 months and is now 6 years old. What I would like is for my daughter to have a dog companion by her side as she grows up. What I'm also trying to make decision on is whether I should get her a smaller breed or a breed that grows a good size
We got a puppy when our son was 10 months old and had just started sleeping through the night so it was Awful bc I finally got little man to sleep through the night and then I had to wake up with a stinking dog!! plus it was winter so it made is miserable taking the puppy potty.
if you're getting up now throughout the night with baby I say go for it unless you live some where really cold I would say wait a little bit so it's not such a pain to get puppy to go out and potty.
Also, rememebr puppy's can be just as exhausting to raise and train as babies..just know it will be double the work

It can be a handful, but no different than twins - and people do that all the time! 😁. I think it's a great idea, as long as it's a forever home for the doggie and the classes are a wonderful idea!

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
@bjeff, ☹ I forgot all about that! I live in the blazing desert of California. But the heat here is just as bad! Even at night...my baby is almost sleeping through the night as well. There's a lot of pro's & cons to this decision :( like I think about getting a little dog but I'm leaning towards a bigger bread but big breed pups go through teething as well and chew on everything.
