Spotting is normal for how far along she is. But if it's like a period like of bleeding then I would go in. That is a sign of a miscarriage.

I had sine bleeding in my 7th week as the umbilical cord implanted. My Dr told me that as long as there is no cramps that double you over our clots coming baby's most likely fine. Hope that helps the worry!

she needs to go to the ER now not every doctor thinks bleeding is normal mine she's didn't and I was only spotting

she needs to go. even if it's nothing. better to be told everything is fine. then ignore that something is wrong and then be completely shattered finding out something was wrong and she ignored it. I'm hoping she decides to go. don't pressure her. but... please tell her a doctor would rather tell a pregnant woman that nothing is wrong, and see that she is fully concerned.

@emydeathbat, if she has a history of miscarriage then she should really consider going. I have a history of it as well. and I take heed to everything that could be wrong. I understand she may be scared to get wrong news. but it's definitely worth going to be seen. you're a good friend for asking what to do to help her. although bleeding in the start can be normal, it's not always the case! I wish I had friends like you in my past when my pregnancies had bleeding. all my friends were not concerned or serious at all. I even had one leave me stranded to walk to the er bc I was bleeding.

@xxbycolletto, I'm so sorry to hear that :( I wish I could've been there for you!! Nobody deserves a miscarriage. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I'm waiting for a response from her but I know she's at work. I just hope it's nothing big. She isn't cramping that I know of, so that's sort of good news

I bled heavily during my 7th week. I was sure I had miscarried. it was a bloody mess. it happened at work and I went to the er. Dr couldn't explain why I was bleeding. My baby was fine and moving around. Today I'm considered full term😊.
